We send you customer requests for free

How does expertEasy work?

1. We send you customer requests

  • You select your categories of work and the distance you are willing to travel for work.

  • Customers come to expertEasy to hire experts and we review requests to ensure they are legitimate.

2. You respond if you're interested

We send the customer request via email to experts like you. If you are interested and available you can respond by sending a quote with a message and a price estimate.

You are then able to access the phone number the customer has supplied and follow up with a phone call.

3. Get hired

We limit initial quotes to the first 3 experts to respond. The customer will compare and decide who fits best. You work out the details with the customer, over the phone, through expertEasy messages, or in person.

Tips to get hired

Build a great profile

Customers are looking for experts with experience. Your profile is where you show them that you are an expert. Describe your experience and skills, get someone to review what you have written to make sure it highlights your expertise. Where possbile include photos of your past work, you might consider a photographer to really showcase your work.

We also recommend you upload a profile photo of your business logo or yourself, make sure you choose one where you are smiling.

Write clear and professional messages

Make the best first impression. Always address any issues the customer raised and respond to their individual needs. Include a brief summary of your qualifications and specialties. Make sure your price is competitive and be clear what is included and what you can or cannot do. If you don't have enough information to give a detailed quote politely let the customer know this and specify any futher information you need. Avoid spelling or grammar mistakes and address the customer by name.

Give your best estimate

Your quote doesn't have to be a final number, if you don't have enough information to give a detailed quote politely let the customer know this and specify any futher information you need. Tell customers exactly what the quote includes. Remember that customers are comparing against others, you might offer to match others on price for the same tasks. The flip side is that you should not lower your prices such that they could undermine the quality of the service you want provide. If you quote a higher price than your industry average, make sure you explain why. Customers are much more likely to hire you if you provide an idea of price and an explanation.

Get reviewed

Ask your customers to write reviews. Don't worry if a review is not 100% positive, this just makes you more credible. Your reviews are a major factor in customers decisions of who to hire.
